You play your game too well

Of playing that is all

You play your part too well

And surely wants to tell

That just a bit,

Of frightening thoughts a while
Is something one
Expects to come
From small and grown-up boys

 
A song I made for Eric (5 at the time), my son, when I tried to
speak about his scary thoughts at bedtime,
his game playing and the fact that he plays the game of life
so well (I am a suspect to say anything, but he's such a perfect boy!)
I feel like releasing some kind of energy
when I play it, as if I captured a bit of Eric's, who has plenty...
