Gramado and Canela

It includes:

Transfer Porto Alegre/Gramado/Porto Alegre (not private).
Tell us your flight number and we'll be waiting for you at Salgado Filho Airport in Porto Alegre. Transfer lasts 1:45 h, along a 120 Km (75 miles) trip. A bus, a van or car will be used, depending on the number of passengers to be carried. Consult us for private service.

Tour Gramado/Canela

In the morning, visit to Canela, passing by the beautiful Joćo Correa square, Catedral de Pedra (Stone Cathedral), Castelinho (Little Castle), Mundo a Vapor (Steam-Engine World) and the Caracol waterfall. After lunch, we'll go back to Gramado, visit Lago Joaquina Rita Bier, Lago Negro, Mini-Mundo (Mini-World), the Bavarian-style constructions, the handicrafts and the home-made chocolate. Obs.: Lunch and tickets to the parks are not included.

Optional Tours

Noite Gaúcha (Gaucho Night)
Traditional churrasco gaúcho (barbecue) served at Churrascaria Garfo e Bombacha, in Canela. Reception is done by a traditional Gaucho with chimarrão (traditional tea served as locals drink it) and appetizers of the house. During dinner, folklore show with typical dances of the region and the fandango.

Tour Uva e Vinho (Grape and Wine) with Maria Fumaça (typical antique train tour) optional
The first attraction of this tour is Nova Petrópolis, mark of the German colonization, with Labirinto de Ciprestes (Cypress Labyrinth) and Praça das Flores (Flowers Square). In Caxias do Sul, of Italian colonization, visit to the Igreja de São Pelegrino (church), where we will see frescos by Locatelli and the replica of Pieta. Following that, wine tasting in a local winery. After lunch (included), we'll visit the Georges Aubert winery in Garibaldi and take the train Maria Fumaça in Carlos Barbosa (optional, R$45,00 per person). Be prepared to listen to good music, taste delicious wines and champagnes.

Canela Natural
Parque do Teleférico: ferry cable tour, viewpoints with incredible views to the Caracol waterfall, throughout an extension of 415 meters (0.26 mile). Alpen Park: sleigh tour among beautiful views of mountains and waterfalls. Ferradura Valley: horseshoe-shaped canyon approximately 400 m (0,25 mile) long with three sight-seeing platforms. Pinheiro Grosso Park: in the middle of a native forest, a 700-year-old araucária tree, 48 m (157 ft) high and with a diameter of 2,75 m (9 ft). It includes tickets to the parks, except Alpen Park.
